IWSG Badge

Just really joined this blog hop, so please forgive me if/when I mess it up.

On the first Wednesday of each month we are supposed to post a question and perhaps a comment about the subject, so I know I’m a bit late for December and a bit early for January, but in the interests of trying it all out, here goes.

The optional question for December was what do you think about ending a book on a cliff-hanger? A good thing, or perhaps a bad thing? Feel free to comment below (or not).

  1. Hi, and welcome

Suspect I’ll always be trying to catch up, more so in December and January, when every day delivers its own cliffhangers.
If not F & F, the weather will be interesting, might even be fun – like now..
Currently snowed up/iced in, car half a mile away, in theory, perfect weather for reading IWSG blogs. ,

    This year, a real website ? Maybe….

  2. Welcome to the IWSG Blog Hop!

As a writer I would only end a book on a cliffhanger if I was going to immediately start writing the next book. As a reader cliffhangers can be fun, IF the writer produces the next installment of the story in a timely fashion.

  3. Welcome! They pushed the January post to today, since the first Wednesday was a holiday, so you’re right on time, just with last month’s question. But who cares? It’s all good. 😉

I write romance, so my readers expect a happy ending. No cliffhangers for me. (Reader-me doesn’t like them, either.)

  4. Welcome to the IWSG! Normally it would be the first Wednesday, but since that was New Year’s Day, we pushed it to today.
I don’t know how you feel about them, but I am not a fan of cliffhangers.
