I am the rock that stands alone
Unmoving since the birth of stone.
Unmoved by storm or gale,
Nor touched by sun nor rain nor hail.
I am the shadow in the light,
The voice that whispers out of sight.
The voice that brings not hope but fear,
That blights the soul of all who hear.
I am unnamed by men who walk the earth
The shape they see within the hearth
The shape that in their dreams they flee
That stalks the land they thought was free.
I am death to those who know my name
And death to those who touch my flame
And death to those who try my might.
They know me as, the true Elf-Knight.
